Hey fabs!

First off, I must say I think it is such a great idea that Nigerian fashion brands have started embracing the ‘diffusion line’ idea such as Virgos Lounge with V Label and Rebahia with Wild Magnolia. Joining the band wagon with their diffusion line which is named J label, is the power fashion house Jewel by Lisa.

The diffusion line recently launched their collection online which will be available at They also released a lookbook/campaign featuring PR girl Tania Omotayo who oozes nothing but fun, fun and more fun. Party with Tania as she shows off key pieces from the diffusion line JLabel, which features an amazing selection of easy to wear separates in JBL’s signature modern prints, bright colours and easy silhouettes.’s Style Team says “We are huge fans of the J Label and we are excited to have it online at  It is the perfect everyday wardrobe for today’s cool girl at an accessible price. Affordable Luxury at it’s best!”

The party inspired campaign is fun, playful, flirty, minimalist and yet so high fashion. Get caught up in the glitter and grab a hula hoop as shows you the different ways to wear your prints this season. Join the cool set.

10 Nigerian fashion brands I love Pt1

Hey lovers!

Welcome to the month of March! I’m over excited because this is my birthday month but let me not get into my birthday wishlist. Instead let’s talk about something else. Nigeria is one country that has recently opened its arms to the world of fashion. The people are more fashion conscious, there are emerging designers, stylists, models and so much more. Its been really exciting to the growth of our fashion industry and It is so important for me as a Nigerian fashion blogger to promote the Nigerian and African fashion industries. So I am going to introduce you, my beautiful readers to the world of Nigerian fashion. In no particular order,  here are the top 10 Nigerian fashion brands I love. I hope you fall in love with them too. Enjoy!!

I would love to tag ‘Rebahia’ as the label of my dreams and their recent spring/summer 2014 collection just sealed the deal. The label stands for simplicity but focuses more on fabric and bold color choices. The Rebahia woman is modern, sensual, simple, elegant and confident and I must say the clothes do reflect the brand image. I love me some Rebahia.

Virgos Lounge is probably one of the most recognised fashion brands in Nigeria. They are known for their love for vintage pieces and impeccable details like sequins, beading etc. I particularly love their dresses…I think they are amazing. If you’ve got that special wedding, birthday or dinner date, trust me, you want to get that outfit from VL. Angela Simmons happens to be a big fan of VL and she always stuns in their pieces.

I love Grey. They stand for affordable yet timeless and fashionable clothings. Their clothes are very functional and can easily be translated from day to night. I also love Grey for their fantastic prints and use of color.

Andrea Iyamah is what I’d describe as a perfect mix of elegance and edge. I die for her evening wear!

Andrea Iyamah is also known for sexy and stylish swimwear.

‘The Wana Sambo woman is strong, sexy and confident.’ The clothes definitely reflect this. I love how easy Wana Sambo pieces are. They are comfortable, functional but stylish and really sexy. I recently purchased a few items from the WS showroom in Lekki and I can’t wait to share my experience with you all.

Have a great week loves!
