I know its just Day 1 of LFDW but I think I am in LOVE! I love this beautiful collection from Weizdhum Franklyn. This collection is feminine, sexy, demure and wearable and Its all about the lace work, sheer details, form fitting dresses, mini dresses, A-line silhouettes and high waisted pants…what more in fashion defines ‘Woman’ please?
One thing I love the most about this collection is the fact its so sexy and I bet that when you wear these pieces, they make you feel like a woman without putting all your goodies out there! My best look has to be the white and yellow midi dress with sheer details and the last dress…that dress is begging for a walk down the aisle. I think the designer did a great job here and we should give credit to whom credit is due so…Cheers!

Its the most stylish and fabulous week of the fashion calendar and I can’t even tell you all how excited i am. Lagos Fashion and Design Week kicked off yesterday at the Ocean View Grounds by Eko Hotel, Lagos. Its that time of the year when we get to see the trends that will soon evade the fashion scene, we get 4 days solely dedicated to drive the Nigerian fashion industry by bringing together the biggest names in fashion all over the world. LFDW is the best of both worlds as it will feature both local and international designers and showcase the best of African talents.
Guarantee Trust Bank is the official sponsor for the event and other co sponsors include Maybelline New York, MTN, British Council and Wings Magazine. Of course there are some designers that I’m more that curious to see what they have in store for us like Tiffany Amber, Bridget Awosika, Iconic Invanity, Jewel by Lisa and so much more! Who is excited??? Cause I am! I would love for all of you to stay glued to FBY as I will be bringing you the latest collections from the runway of the best designers!
So, here is the detailed schedule for LFDW so we all can stalk our favorite designers…:-P
